EHF 2020 Women - Life intricacies and disrupted schedules

Good morning handball fans.

I am so sorry for being absent for a while. The defeat away to Bucharest by USAM did not help either. London - Lisboa - Trondheim would have been a nice roadtrip under normal circumstances.

Today is a painful experience within the in-sanity of life intricacies and disrupted schedules

Grief in hearing of so many recent losses due to cancer or COVID

Sadness in being far from those I know or I do not know who suffer from COVID and other illnesses/diseases

Frustration in seeing Frederiskhavn and Norway pulling out from the tournament organization

Acknowledgement in declinature for my online and on-site media applications 

Feeling of a bizarre ruling where Arsenal players can travel to Molde but a normal handball fan cannot travel to Norway for handball.

It's difficult to have prepared months ahead for the event and on its opening day there you have it unable to enjoy it later today and for the next fortnight or so. I feel a bit like a player who would have been part of the qualifiers and the tournament warms-up and for a plethora of reasons beyond his control can no longer be part of something he loves.

Those disrupted holidays, a common trait for so many citizens especially in 2020. 

Let's stay calm, carry on, regroup and use the cardinal principles of jesuit education.  It was Chamartin in the 1960s for the late idol Juan Dios De Roman Seco. It was Deusto in 2001 for me.

Honest outcome on life with Arsenal's 40/60

  ARSENAL's 40% v 60% and life is completely wiped out of fans All the important life stuff on a halt this weekend because of this life defining moment this Sunday at 4pm in North London. 40% v 60% I said to my Transport for London buddies after a never ending 6-week (already) ordeal on calamity Northern Line.
