France 2019 - Astonishing semi-final and gripping final

After the Arsenal defeat at the bogey away ground (St Mary's), I was eager to watch using 4G or wifi on the coach back to London the handball final but would miss the last three minutes and the medals ceremony owing to technical glitches.
The semi-final was astonishing and the final was gripping. Our friend Paul Bray is frankly gutted because, much as we love him as a person and knowledgeable handball fan/commentator/player/manager he could not stop showing signs of frustration with France wrestling with their opponents. During the Rio games it was shocking how he would suppport any team playing against France in the men as well as in the women's competition. At this Euro championship he also ignored some basic handball principles when France were in the semi-final and the final against contentious decisions by the Spanish and Danish referees respectively. Referees and commentators are part of the game but they should remain neutral and unbiased.
At the start of the second half passive play is not given against the Dutch team whereas seconds earlier a France attack was very quickly adjudged to be passive play.
Paul Bray shouted 'yes' when the opposing (Dutch) team scored and it took us by surprise when he delivered a bit of praise to France referring to a goal that was class.
Why the French breaks are 'lucky'? Why 'lucky wish' for Edwige's miss with 9 minutes left on the clock? Why France are 'lucky' to have two keepers?
Some valid goals are disallowed and genuine seven meters are not given !
Hardly a foul and cheap 2 min suspensions or seven meters are imposed upon the French defense.
He nonetheless noted Laura Glauser's fair play with a peg on the cheek
He observed that the tournament would be finishing with the same teams having participated to the opening game : France and Russia
When Allison Pineau received her red card early in the seond half of the final he would hardly concede that it was a very harsh (erroneous) decision.
Paul Bray is genuinely nice, honest and witty and I am one of his biggest fan(s); however like many of us he can get carried away in his remarks.
