EHF Champions League. Bucharest delight
EHF Champions League
Group Stage
2 February 2020
Gyor goalie Grimsbo reminded
me of great memories
Bucharest vs Metz = THE NEAGU SHOW
FIRST HALF
8-8 on 16 minutes
We get to 12-9 on 23
minutes
Just as I was thinking
keeper from Bucharest has the edge, she gets easily beaten in the middle
But reduced to 12-11
on 25. Laura Flippes mate gets an empty net goal drawing the match level
Three shots top corner,
two by Cristina Neagu and it 15-13 with one min left in the first half.
16-14 half time
SECOND HALF
The Neagu show continues
18-14 (33’)
Denisa Dedu is able to
read the shots
I cannot see CARMEN nor
NORA today.
And the scoreline becomes
22-16 (40’)
Whilst Laura got a
ball back, Kanor concedes a two-minute penalty then Nocandy gets two minutes
and concedes a 7-meter throw as well
Dedu quick thinking
helps a cool empty net goal 25=19 (45’)
Still no change in
keeper by Metz manager.
Good goal by Metz on
the wing and it looks though her feet was down first. 26-23 (50’)
Confusion on empty
goal and Neagu makes the most of it magically. Absolute legend at home 27-23 (51’)
Grbic helps Laura getting
up as she fell on the wing. Nice help.
A lot of unnecessary
two minutes suffered by Metz and Bucharest players to be fair.
ELI Omoregie easily
dispatches goal number 29
Grbic steal is
impressive and she runs towards the empty net for a 5-goal lead 30-25 (57’)
Luciano keeps her cool
on a good goal 31-27 with just over one min left.
ELI scores a wonderful
goal on the buzzer making it an easy 5-goal win.
The cheerleaders are
really pretty and elegant in their yellow outfit.
Final score is 32-27 to the speaker's delight.

J’apprends un attentat
a Balham
On 6’45 it is 1-5, but
it is tighter 6-10 on 20 mins
Inexplicable, it is 12-13
on 29 mins. The PFF tells you everything that the Danish side could have led at
the interval
In the meantime, England are getting two tries but France held. The Danish side was much better in the second half and deserve the win (29-27).
In the meantime, near Balham a distressing terrorist incident. Thank God I was so sad anyway that I was at home watching football and handball.
