Then a superb Spain - Poland, muy apretado !  I want to thank Raul Entrerrios for his captain's exemplary attitude. And the majestic and fair-play Polish keeper Morawski deserves all the accolades

Sadly Qatar wins 31-29 because all things being equal Japan would have deserved to win. Mr Rivera is a GENIUS.

A disappointing Liverpool MU disrupted my match report

Was not sure which result favoured Spain and the draw is probably not too bad

Alex Fernandez does the business on the wing and Aleix Gomez puts Spain 4-2 ahead with circa 8 mins played

Glorious catch by Gomez to score a superb number 5 for Spain after 10 mins. It got disallowed !

Instead Poland drawing the match and Rodrigo does not appear to get any saves going.

And Aleix misses one counter-attack shot to everyone’s surprise but Jorge does it for him later.

Viran sprints like Carl Lewis and the ensuing penalty is converted by Aleix. 6-4 after 14 mins

Why does it say Poland with six goals? I did not see them scoring two goals !!!!

Morawski, the young Polish keeper did save from a Kempe and wing play brilliantly.

He’s growing in confidence.

Fabulous old-fashioned goal by Raul as he perforates the powerless defence.

Fernandez on the wing surprises the keeper with number 26 for Spain. He had a tremendous influence as well at key moments.
